Fundamental methods for processing geometrical surfaces are commonplace in today’s visualization and analysis packages. Tools that provide fast and accurate manipulation of large surface meshes are de facto in this class of tools.

Reduction of mesh elements, trimming, conversion, joining, texture mapping, and simply exploring are a few commonplace features that accompany a complete geometry manipulation tool.

These methods can be combined with large data methods in order to interact with several hundred million triangle surface meshes and more. Produce smaller more usable version of these meshes or work directly on the full size data if you want.
