Licensing FAQ

Does my software require an Internet connection?
Yes. Stratovan products require an Internet connection each time you use the software for license validation and to obtain the latest software updates.

What forms of payment are acceptable?
We accept credit cards or wire transfers in US dollars.

Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Please choose the "Purchase Order" option during checkout, print out the PO form, and then wire the funds in US dollars using the information provided. US entities can submit payment with a check; we will issue the license once the check has cleared. We only accept credit cards or wire transfers from international (non-US) customers.

Can I use my software on both my laptop and desktop computers?
Your license permits you to use any number of computer systems, though only one copy of the software can be running at a time.

When my license expires, can I continue to use the software?
No. Stratovan provides software in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. This means that once your license expires, the software will no longer function. You must renew your license to continue using the software.

Can I renew my license for fewer users?
Yes. You can renew as many user licenses up to the number that is currently active.

Can I add multiple/new user licenses to my account?
Yes. A primary account holder can add any number of sub-licenses to their account. For example, a director of a research lab can add licenses for all graduate students in their lab.
