Stratovan Corporation receives two additional patents for advanced image processing and user graphics interfaces

Davis, CA September 24, 2014 - Stratovan Corporation was recently awarded two additional patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, adding to its long list of innovations.  The two patents are for new technologies in the identification of objects in imaging scans and for the simplification in connecting data to interactive user interfaces.  "It is always rewarding to see an official acknowledgement of our technological innovations," said David Wiley, PhD, Stratovan Corporation's President and Chief Technology Officer. 

The patents provide protection for the novel designs of image processing, identification of objects in CT or MRI scans and for the software design to allow for graphical object interactions.  This newly patented technology is utilized in two of Stratovan’s platform software products, Encircle™ and Tumbler™ which are used in market segments such as, domestic security, airport security, medical and veterinary applications, as well as life sciences (such as biology, anthropology and paleontology).  These two additional patents reflect Stratovan's focus and why our slogan is "Saving Lives Through Software."
